INTEC Energy Solutions to Deliver 20 MWp Solar Project in Löberitz, Germany for VSB Group

INTEC Energy Solutions is pleased to announce the signing of a contract with VSB Group, part of TotalEnergies, for the delivery of a 20 MWp solar project in Löberitz, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Under the contract, INTEC Energy Solutions will be responsible for Engineering, Procurement and Construction  (EPC) scope, including Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services, for an initial term of two years with the possibility of mutual aggreement.

The project represents an important step forward for both companies, marking the start of a new collaboration between INTEC Energy Solutions and VSB Group and reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing Germany’s energy transition.

Early works have already commenced on the approximately 16-hectare site, where the 20 MWp PV power plant will support the continued expansion of renewable energy generation capacity while further strengthening INTEC’s presence in the German market. Through the successful delivery of the project, both companies aim to support Germany’s renewable energy targets while promoting sustainable and reliable energy infrastructure development.

Commenting on the agreement, Klaus Friedl, Managing Director Germany at INTEC Energy Solutions, said: “We are proud to begin our collaboration with VSB Group on this important project, which further strengthens our presence in Germany and supports the country’s ongoing energy targets.” Alberto R. Rocha, Global Director of Business Development at INTEC Energy Solutions, added: “This agreement represents another important milestone in the expansion of our European portfolio and reflects the confidence that leading renewable energy developers place in INTEC as a long-term delivery partner.”

Thomas Winkler, Managing Director VSB Germany, commented: “We welcome INTEC Energy Solutions as a reliable EPC partner on this project and look forward to a successful collaboration. The Löberitz solar plant is a strategically important addition to our portfolio – together with the wind farm currently under construction at the same site, it will form an integrated hybrid energy park, further demonstrating VSB Group’s commitment to developing multi-technology renewable energy assets.”

The Löberitz Solar Project reflects the shared commitment of VSB Group and INTEC Energy Solutions to accelerating the energy transition through reliable project delivery and sustainable development. By combining VSB Group’s project development expertise with INTEC Energy Solutions’ comprehensive EPC capabilities, the project will contribute to Germany’s renewable energy goals and help build a more sustainable energy future.
