As an international company we are looking for Civil & Structural Design Engineer in Philippines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Civil / Structural Engineering Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, minimum 6 years of experience
• Experience in designing civil / structural sections of PV Park projects in utility scale - preferred
• Familiar with Structural / Civil calculations, BoQ, Cost Estimation and Specifications.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products and other calculation/simulation software
• Experienced or knowledgeable in preparing bill of quantity/bill of material list from given drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
• Experience in 2D and 3D Civil/Structural/Urban planning/Roads design software systems (Autodesk Civil 3D, 12D etc.)
• Having planning & organization & multitask skills, reporting,
• Being cooperative, helpful and diligent, in harmony with managers and colleagues
• Open / enthusiastic about learning and self-development
• Having expert level AutoCAD, MS office and at least one structural analysis software (Dlubal RFEM/ Autodesk Robot Structural / SAP 2000 etc.) user skills
• Possessing a chartered Engineer status for AU-NZ region is preferred but not mandatory for your application.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Review and interpretation of site survey reports
• Coordination of external structural companies/engineers
• Act as a single point of contact / direct interface
• Preparation & communication of scope of work for external structural companies/engineers
• In line with the growth targets of the company to develop the strategies that are created, to contribute,
• Preparation of in-house drawings and technical specifications. Developing technical specifications and scopes of work for subcontracting engineering firms and contractors
• Ensuring the reports/deliveries are complete & according to the scope of work
• Evaluation of proposals from external structural companies/engineers (tender phase)
• Preliminary structural analysis for feasibility study for special constructions/substructures
• Evaluation and optimization of substructure designs received from external companies
• Evaluation and optimization of determination of embedding pile length
• Compare and assess different methods/testing procedures of soil testing
• Dimensioning of reinforced concrete foundations
• Developing detailed layouts and civil design packages that meet all contractual, code, and permitting requirements
• Assessment of load assumptions/combinations for specific locations
• Assessment of structural calculation of precast / in-situ concrete foundations for transformer / collector stations
• Conducting on-site solar PV Parks site visit, commissioning and troubleshooting
