We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale Solar PV project in Mauritania. The successful candidate will be mobilized from Türkiye and will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the project from construction through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project execution activities, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the Solar PV project.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, HSE, and Commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and progress reporting systems.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, local authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee contract administration, variation management, claims management, and commercial performance of the project.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, project permits, environmental requirements, and company standards.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management.

 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in EPC project management, with at least 5 years in utility-scale Solar PV projects.
• Proven experience managing solar projects of 50 MWp or larger from construction through commissioning.
• Strong understanding of EPC contract management, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience working on international projects, preferably in Africa, the Middle East, or other remote locations.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing multicultural project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
• Fluent English is required; French language skills will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Mauritania for the duration of the project.
