INTEC Appoints Klaus Friedl as New Managing Director

Klaus Friedl is a renowned professional with almost 30 years of leadership experience across various international sectors, particularly in renewable energy. Klaus is known for his customer and result-oriented approach and excels in formulating and implementing strategic and financial plans. Skilled in conducting business in German, English, and French, he has a solid background in sales, marketing, negotiation, deal making, team building, and strategic planning and implementation. His expertise extends to the technical, commercial, and financial aspects of the solar business, enabling him to create new business opportunities and network effectively with clients at all levels.

Klaus Friedl has held several prominent positions in the solar industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Solar Market Development and Head of Solar Project Development at PNE AG, where he was responsible for structuring and expanding global solar project development and hybrid power plants. Prior to that, he was a senior manager at Phoenix Solar AG and subsidiaries like Phoenix Solar Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş., Phoenix Solar Overseas GmbH, and Phoenix Solar LLC, where he led the execution of major PV power plants and established strategic alliances and joint ventures globally. Additionally, Klaus has held leadership positions at other notable companies, where he honed his skills in market analysis, project management, and implementation of innovative solutions.

Throughout his career, Klaus has demonstrated a strong ability to analyze market conditions and implement innovative solutions that drive growth and sustainability. His leadership skills in project development, EPC, managing large-scale photovoltaic projects and his commitment to renewable energy make him an invaluable asset to INTEC Energy Solutions.
