Job Overview:

The Marketing & Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives and supporting sales activities to increase brand awareness and generate leads in the target markets. The role requires a blend of marketing acumen and sales support skills to align strategies and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns to support brand positioning globally.
    • Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives.
    • Analyze market trends and customer insights to tailor marketing strategies.
  2. Sales Support:
    • Work closely with the Business Development team to understand their needs and provide relevant marketing materials and support.
    • Assist in the creation of sales presentations, documents, and other collateral.
    • Track and report on sales performance metrics and support lead generation efforts.
    • Follow-up leads to ensure timely and effective engagement.
    • Maintain and update the CRM system to track sales activities, customer interactions, and progress.
    • Provide reports and insights based on CRM data to inform sales strategies.
  3. Social Media Management:
    • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g., social media, email, SEO/SEM).
    • Maintain a robust presence on relevant social media platforms. Contributing to planning and scheduling engaging posts, monitoring social trends, and engaging with the online community to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  4. Content Creation: Producing high-quality content internally & externally, such as presentations, blog posts, articles, whitepapers, videos, infographics, and more.
  5. Market Research:
    • Conduct research to identify market opportunities and customer preferences in target regions.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with the Business Development (BD) team to align marketing strategies with business development goals.
    • Ensure seamless communication between marketing and other teams to optimize support and performance.
  7. Event Management:
    • Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, and trade shows to promote the company’s services and projects.
    • Manage all events operations and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.
  8. Public Relations: Handling media relations, publishing press releases, and building a positive reputation for the company in the sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and sales support roles preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Fluent in English with native proficiency in German.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
  • Excellent presentation and report preparation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant marketing tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
