As an international company, we are looking for a Document Control Specialist based in Nouakchott-Nord Region, Mauritania.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Good command of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Result-oriented and multi-tasking with good time management and strong organizational skills
  • No restriction for international travel

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Organize, catalog, and maintain a centralized repository of department documents, including technical specifications, reports, and project documentation.
  • Implement and oversee a robust version control system to track document revisions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Categorize documents based on type, purpose, and content, making them easily searchable.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and colleagues on document control procedures and best practices.
  • Receiving, reviewing, categorizing, scanning, filing, and tracking documents using the company's classification and organization systems.
  • Proactively communicating with client Document Control Specialists and internal teams to manage workload and project requests.
  • Contributing to the development of department policies, including documentation, storage, and organization policies.
  • Converting selected hard copy files to electronic format.
  • Attending face to face or online meetings, identify key points and prepare relevant documents like minutes of meeting and coordinating with attendees to prepare meeting schedules before meetings.
  • Actively propose actions and take part in continuous improvement process.
  • Fulfill other duties assigned by the Supervisor within the scope of your responsibilities and work objectives.
