As part of our international growth, we are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Mauritania.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, document control, procurement support, project administration, or a similar role within the construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or engineering sectors.
- Fluent in English.
- Good understanding of contract clauses, commercial documentation, and contract administration processes.
- Excellent organizational and document management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with document management systems (DMS) and contract management software is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation, review, processing, and administration of contracts, amendments, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, databases, and filing systems.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of executed contracts and supporting documentation.
- Monitor contractual milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and renewal dates.
- Track contractual compliance and assist in identifying deviations from contractual obligations.
- Coordinate contract-related matters with Legal, Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing contract summaries, correspondence, notices, and reports.
- Support the contract review process by identifying missing information and administrative inconsistencies.
- Facilitate internal approval workflows and ensure documentation complies with company procedures.
- Assist with contract amendments, extensions, and contract close-out activities.
- Prepare periodic reports on contract status, key deadlines, and outstanding actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing the required contract documentation and maintaining organized records.
- Assist in monitoring supplier and subcontractor contractual documentation.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all contractual information and records.
- Provide administrative and contractual support to the Contract Manager and project teams as required.
